I visited Soboro for the first time today with a friend, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish.
The Eggdrop sandwich was absolutely divine — the bread was so fluffy it practically melted away, and the filling was generous, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. It’s huge as well; one sandwich can easily be shared between two people, though it’s so delicious you might not want to!
I had the Black Sesame Latte, which was outstanding. Nutty, smooth, and not overly sweet, it had such complex flavors that reminded me of a sweet sesame bar — comforting yet sophisticated. Highly recommended if you want something unique.
The Corn dog was wonderfully crunchy on the outside and satisfying inside, while the pastries were light, fluffy, and bursting with flavor. Honestly, each bite was better than the last.
On top of the food, the atmosphere is beautiful — warm, modern, and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy.
Overall, Soboro exceeded all expectations. From the quality of the food to the charming ambiance, it’s a spot I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable café experience in Düsseldorf. I can’t wait to go back!- Service

Got soooo much sweets, me and my friends tried different things! They were good, maybe tasted a little similar between each other. Also liked the croquette! The egg drop? Just yes, so wow, you definitely need to try it!

This was my 2nd visit to Soboro. Their cakes were so amazing! They were not too sweet and the texture was soft. I had to control myself not to buy everything 🫠 the drink (matcha latte) was rather disappointing though, the colour was pale and I could not taste any matcha. I would say they are more specialised in cakery/bakery than the drinks. They have limited seatings available, in summer there are seats placed outside too (not there when I visited in late winter/spring). They have toilets too. Card and cash payments were accepted.- Service

The pastries were not only delicious but also visually stunning, with vibrant colors that made them even more tempting. Choosing what to try was the hardest part—everything looked so good that I wanted to taste it all!
The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere with their positive energy. Overall, this bakery is a must-visit for anyone who loves fresh, flavorful, and beautifully crafted treats.- Service

It was crowded but the food was still amazing! We tried the matcha bread and bulgogi fried bread. Very creamy matcha in the bread and the bulgogi filling was great in the fried bread! We also had the yuzu lemonade which was refreshing. They also have a lot of different cakes, going to try it next time!

I think this is my favorite Korean bakery shop so far, I really like the strawberry matcha, is so good and the cakes they have there as the matcha crepe layer, and the blueberry and chocolate one, we also tried their cheesecake. It is really nice.

We chose the corndog with sausage and one with potato and mozzarella. I was afraid it would lose it's crunchiness when they were heating them up but it was still good. The batter is very fluffy and the sausage is tasty. Even the potato on the outside of the mozzarella corndog was nice. As a drink we chose the blue lemonade to share. It was a butterfly pea lemonade I think and it was okay. We also bought the matcha scone, matcha cream bread, whippedcream bun and cake for take away. The flavors are rich and the textures super fluffy and not overly sweet. The staff was so friendly and helpfull. It was worth the wait.- Service

I can tell that all the stuffs are freshly made, some of them were still warm when i came, the matcha was really well made though, didn‘t expect it at first tbh hehe.
Oh you can even pay by PayPal here if you forget your cash/card, so convenient! The staffs are so friendly.
Gonna come back here as soon as i visit Düsseldorf next time😋- Service

If you like Matcha as I do, you need to try Matcha roll here. Overall wide choice of Asian desserts for any taste! They are not too sweet, light and creamy. Yuzu lemon tea was not too sweet as well in comparison with other Asian cafes. However, you need to ask for less sugar. Matcha latte by default is also sweet, I asked to make sugar free for me💚
I rated atmosphere a bit less due to loud music 🎵- Service

Very cute and cozy small bakery Café. It only has 2 tiny tables. The variety of sweets, desserts and pastry here is pretty big, they also sell corndogs . They serve hot and cold beverages. The cake and roulette that we had was lightweight, tasty and not too sweet, our latte was pretty big.Prices here are reasonable and low. I'm definitely coming back here to try more desserts 😍
